S H Jones have been serving the wine needs of people in the Heart of England for over 160 years, and today we are more passionate about wine than ever.

We believe we have a range of wonderful wines, beers and spirits some of which may not be from producers you have heard of, but we are very proud of the quality and choice that we offer.

We believe that we can offer our customers excellent value and that everything we sell is sold at a fair price.

Our People

We understand that in a specialist area like wines and spirits, having people who are properly trained is vitally important. Currently all our shop managers have obtained the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Advanced Certificate with Sam Herring the Assistant Manager of our Cellar Shop also having taken the exam in October this year and is waiting on the results. Simon Gardener our Bicester shop manager has also passed the WSET Diploma, whilst Janet Whitehouse our Banbury High Street Shop manager is currently studying.
The retail team are led by Kieron Galliard and Tim Carlisle who have both won prizes for achievement whilst passing the diploma whilst Kieron has gone on to being studying for the prestigious Master of Wine.
